01
Start with local experience
Hollywood's market changes block by block. A realtor who has closed recent transactions in Hollywood Beach, Hollywood Lakes, or Emerald Hills will give you sharper positioning than one working county-wide averages.
02
Interview for communication
Ask how updates will happen and how quickly. A great realtor tells you what you need to know — including the parts you may not want to hear — and does it in your preferred channel.
03
Look for a plan, not a pitch
A serious realtor should walk you through a plan: pricing analysis, timelines, marketing, and negotiation approach. If the conversation is only about their brand or awards, keep looking.
04
Check for transaction depth
You want someone who can navigate inspections, appraisal gaps, financing wrinkles, and HOA reviews without drama. Ask about the last three deals — what went sideways and how they handled it.
